Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year
• Location: On-site in Rancho Cordova, CA

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer/Engineering Manager (Electronic Systems) to lead the development and continuous improvement of our meteorological measurement systems. This is a unique opportunity for a technical leader who enjoys “wearing many hats” and thrives in a fast-paced, small-team environment.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to drive innovation, optimize product performance, and guide a high-impact team. With approximately 90% hands-on development work and 10% leadership responsibilities, you’ll play a key role in shaping both the technology and the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving electronic hardware, embedded systems, software, and mechanical components
• Develop strategic roadmaps for engineering projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery
• Tackle unique, high-impact challenges that influence product innovation and company growth
• Design, develop, and implement advanced electronic hardware, embedded systems, and system integration solutions
• Improve existing products based on customer feedback and internal innovation, guiding the engineering team in executing enhancements
• Recommend and implement process improvements in development, testing, production, and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, production, documentation, and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery
• Mentor and lead junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence

What You Bring

• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in electronics engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in an engineering leadership or product management role
• A passion for solving complex technical challenges and delivering high-quality, innovative products
